So it was my birthday last week and one of the best presents I received was a gorgeous pair of Persol Capri Edition sunglasses. I LOVE THEM! The Capri collection was inspired by the Italian island of Capri and in particular the Casa Malaparte, a villa which perches on the edge of a cliff on the island.
The sunglasses feature a redesigned silver arrow reminiscent of the villa's shape, silver curved detail inspired by a white wall on top of the house, plus the back end of the temples are etched to emulate the stairs that lead to the villa's rooftop.
The packaging is lovely too and I can already imaging packing the cool case in my beach bag. The colour? A stunning grey-brown. The perfect alternative to boring black shades this summer. Now all I need is a ticket to Capri to show them off on the beach!
